A man in Florida has been arrested after he allegedly married and fathered a child with a 13-year-old girl.
According to an arrest report, 31-year-old Antonio Juarez married the underage girl with her parents’ blessing.

In fact, authorities say the marriage between Juarez and the teenager was arranged by the girl’s parents.
While speaking with investigators, Juarez confessed that he’d had sexual relations with his “wife” at least twice a month for the last seven years that they were married.
Throughout the illegal marriage, Juarez and his victim lived with her parents, according to NBC 2.
When the 13-year-old gave birth about a year after she and Juarez married, police immediately launched an investigation.
However, according to authorities, the victim’s family would not cooperate with the investigation and her parents refused to name Juarez as their grandchild’s father.
It took several years before the terrified young teen was finally able to escape the arranged marriage, but the moment she did, she took her 6-year-old child and explained everything to police.
Lee County investigators say Juarez has since been charged with multiple counts of Lewd or Lascivious Battery.
According to NBC 2, he is currently being held behind bars on $100,000 bond.
