Recently a video appeared on the YouTube website which has aroused the curiosity of ghost enthusiasts. Some people have speculated the footage from a hotel security camera records paranormal activity. The chilling audio certainly raises more questions than it answers!
When hotel guests reported screaming in the modern, carpeted hotel on September 14, 2003, an employee called “John” responded promptly to the complaints. He took and elevator to the upper floor. Holding a flashlight, he proceeded through the well-lit, carpeted interior corridor of the facility to Room #209 and contacted his supervisor. Both men heard loud wailing emanating from the room. Yet a call to the desk clerk, Amy, confirmed no guests should occupy the premises there. Although his supervisor urged him to wait for the police to arrive, John opened the locked hotel room door and proceeded inside to investigate.

His report to his supervisor presented disturbing information. He informed him that inside the room he discovered the bathroom shower running, the carpet in shreds and items of furniture turned upside down. No explanation emerged for the mysterious cries, which had resembled the wailing of a baby. On the tape, the audience can observe the man’s flashlight glinting periodically through the doorway as he explored the vacant darkened hotel room. At one point, the lights in the hall briefly appeared to flicker and flare in brilliance. What indeed caused the disturbance inside the empty room heard by so many people? The question remains unanswered to this day!
