The rescuers received a call about a dog being thrown in the L.A. river. The eyewitnesses said that the pooch had been “brutalized” and thrown in the canal! The rescuers hurried to the location, not wanting to wait for one second! Once they arrived, they spotted the poor creature! Who could do such a thing to a helpless animal?
The poor little fella didn’t even have the strength to be frightened, or to run away! When they raised him from the ground they noticed that his foot was completely cut off! Whoever had done this to this cute pup, deserves to suffer from the same fate.

In addition to having his leg cut off, the little pooch suffered from mange, bacterial infections, and malnutrition. His rescuer held and comforted him all through the medical examinations and interventions, and the pup was more than ready to receive gentleness and affection.
