A customer went to In-N-Out for a meal and took a closer look at her cup. She was apparently shocked by what she found hidden on the bottom. Others are asking why it’s such a big deal.
In-N-Out Burger is a fast food chain known best on the west coast. A customer had heard some rumors about the restaurant, but didn’t give them much thought until she saw something on the bottom of her cup. The liberal customer was shocked to find Bible verses.

The customer snapped a picture of the underside rim of the soft drink cup, which said ‘John 3:16.’ The person then took to social media to ‘out’ In-N-Out Burger as a Christian organization.
It was no secret, however, that In-N-Out Burger is run by Christians. The company has always been open about it. It’s not the only restaurant considered a Christian business serving the secular public. Chick-fil-A, Jet Blue, Tyson Chicken, Forever 21 and Mary Kay are just a few of the major corporations started by Christian businesspeople that maintain their Christian values.
Harry and Esther Snyder founded In-N-Out Burger in 1948, and the couple always included Bible verses on their packaging. The company has never wavered from that, although no one really paid much attention until society started seeing expressions of faith as politically incorrect.
Religious people have to make a living too; I guess packaging design is covered under the First Amendment as ‘free speech.’
