ZOO KEEPERS ASSUME PANDA'S BABY IS STILLBORN AFTER 3 DAYS IN LABOR WHEN SUDDENLY PANDA ROLLS OVER AND GIVES BIRTH

A panda on a wildlife reserve in China went into labor, and her caretakers were excited about the birth. As the labor stretched on, however, they began to worry. The panda was in labor for three days, and her caretakers began to think the cub would be stillborn. The baby finally came, and thankfully, was alive.

CCTV footage captured the beautiful scene for all to see. Min Min the panda was struggling with a difficult labor for three days. Just watching her facial expressions and positions are enough to make any woman who has been in labor feel for her.

Finally, Min Min rolled over and caretakers were excited to see a little pink, hairless head emerge.

The reason Min Min had so much difficulty giving birth is because her baby weighed 7.5 ounces– that’s nearly twice as large as the average panda cub. Pandas have the smallest newborns relative to their mother’s size, next to marsupials.

A panda will give birth to a baby 1/900 of its own weight. This would be the equivalent of a human woman giving birth to a milk dud, but as Min Min shows, it doesn’t mean it’s any easier for Panda moms.

Min Min gave birth to a real fighter– the female cub came out screaming, thrashing and struggling. Mother and daughter are doing well.

9 MONTHS AFTER LEAVING HIS MISTRESS, MAN'S WIFE FINDS SOMETHING SHOCKING IN HIS MAIL BOX

A husband was being unfaithful to his wife, and he didn’t really care as long as he was having fun with his beautiful Italian mistress. One day, though, the mistress announced that she was pregnant. The man knew he had to figure a way out of this, or he could lose everything.

The man did not want to go through an expensive divorce, so he ended the affair and convinced the mistress to keep the love child a secret.

“Go back to Italy and have the baby,” he said. “When the child is born, send me an anonymous postcard that says ‘spaghetti.’ I’ll know you had the baby, and will start sending child support.”

The mistress went back to Italy and months went by. The man had put the whole incident in the back of his mind and carried on with life as usual.

One day, the man came home and he asked his wife how her day went.

“Strange,” she said. “We got a postcard in the mail but I don’t know who it’s from and I can’t figure out what it means.”

The man asked to see it, and it read, “Spaghetti, spaghetti, spaghetti, spaghetti, spaghetti. Three with meatballs, two without them. Please send more sauce.”

ONE OF THE MOST COMMON PROBLEMS IN HEALTHCARE WAS JUST SOLVED BY THIS DEVICE

No one likes going to a health care provider to get stuck with a needle, but for some people it can be a total nightmare. Some people have to endure poke after poke as health care workers attempt to find and pierce a vein. The condition, known as ‘shy veins,’ can make drawing blood, getting shots or inserting intravenous lines a lot more traumatizing than they need to be.

Thankfully, medical technology is coming to the rescue of those with shy veins, and the medical professionals who treat them. A device designed by Christie Medical Holdings uses an infrared light to help medical professionals find those pesky veins.

The light locates the blood’s hemoglobin and veins up to a half inch deep will glow. The light is completely harmless and painless.

The device is small and easy to handle. Medical professionals can hook it up to a movable rig, or they can even hold it by hand and shine it down on a patient’s skin.

Clinical studies show that patients are extremely happy with the device, as the ‘first stick success’ rate dramatically increased. Finding the vein on that first poke helps reduce a patient’s pain and discomfort. The only question left is, how soon it will be in doctors’ offices and hospitals?

Birth Order Says A Lot About Personalities

We’ve all heard how only children are stubborn, and that the order that a child is born in their family heavily influences what type of person they become. While some child psychologists disagree about the particular personality traits that your birth order predicts, there is a surprising amount that seems to be true when you look at the research that has been done.

Did you have a bossy older sister or brother? A goofy younger sibling? You may have experienced the outcome of your family’s birth order.

Humans have attempted to characterize how birth order affects who someone eventually becomes, and everyone seems to have their own idea about those traits.

But what does birth order truly predict?

Surprisingly, researchers have argued whether there is any association at all between the order a child is born and predictable personality traits.

While the research has been somewhat inconclusive to date, there have been a few traits that seem to be correlated with your birth position in your family.

Some experts believe that only children tend to be more mature. They are always surrounded by adults after all!

Human behavior expert Dr. Gail Gross told Huffington Post that these ‘lone wolf’ children have a tendency to be strongly independent.

Only children have no other children to play with at home, an environment that may foster a strong sense of independence and resourcefulness.

Some also believe that this well-developed sense of independence can lead to problems cooperating with other children in social settings. That’s definitely one we’ve all heard before, right?

Firstborns seem to be the most driven to achieve.

Sound familiar?

Many believe that simply due to the fact that parents spend so much one-on-one time with their firstborn, these children eventually go on to become “over-responsible.”

My older sister always told me that, until I came around, she was always number one in their eyes. She thinks this is the reason she always, even after I came around, needed to be the best kid. Not my fault, sis!

These firstborns may demonstrate some “bossy” qualities when the siblings start rolling in.

Think about it. Up until the point, a tiny baby comes into the home, no other children were around to order the firstborn around. For them, it seems like it is their way or the highway. Remember, though, this isn’t the older sibling’s fault!

Dr. Gail Gross highlights that second borns tend to be cooperative and flexible.

They had to deal with those bossy firstborns from day one and, perhaps, had to work harder to get what they wanted.

For this reason, Dr. Gross says that middle children tend to be really concerned with rules.

Makes a lot of sense!

The crazy young one.

As the youngest child, you may have fewer rules placed on you because your parents are way less concerned about random safety issues than they were with their first.

As a result, you may be a little more free-spirited.

Some believe that this leads the youngest child to charm and entertain more than the older siblings who may have gotten their attention from parents at typical developmental milestones.

It’s amazing that the young ones tend to turn out more lighthearted and goofy considering what they have to deal with…

At the end of the day, all of these unique personalities mix together to create one incredible family!

Birth Order Says A Lot About Personalities

New challenge has people censoring their nude bodies using one FINGER

There are plenty of social media challenges that have taken the internet by storm in recent months, but the latest one is undoubtedly the most risque.

The One Finger Selfie Challenge is prompting men and women to take naked mirror selfies while simultaneously covering their nipples and genitals using only one finger.

However, one wrong move or miscalculation and participants risk showing a bit more than they bargained for.

Single digit: The One Finger Selfie Challenge sees men and women taking naked mirror selfies while simultaneously covering their nipples and genitals using only one finger.

YouTuber Aimee Davison actually filmed herself attempting the challenge, which she says was started by a cartoon drawing created by Japanese anime artist Sky-freedom.

In the artist’s illustration, her character is pictured taking a mirror selfie while using one finger to cover her chest and crotch. This works because the finger in the picture obscures her genitals, while its reflection is positioned over her chest.

Davison was hesitant about whether or not the trick would even work in real-life, and in the clip, she first tries it out while wearing pants.

Going for it: YouTuber Aimee Davison actually filmed herself attempting the challenge, which she says was started by a cartoon drawing created by Japanese anime artist Sky-freedom

Taking precautions: Davison wore pants during her first attempt because she was hesitant about whether or not the trick would work in real-life

Like the cartoon drawing, Davison has her shirt lifted over her breasts and is carefully covering her chest with her finger.

However, she is clearly confused on how she will use the same finger to cover her nether regions.

‘If it’s blocking there, how is it going to block here?’ she asks while slowly moving her finger around. But it only takes a slight adjustment before she figures it out.

‘Oh I’m doing it. I did it!’ she yells with excitement.

At the end of the clip she shares a side-by-side photo of her nearly-nude selfie next to Sky-freedom’s racy cartoon image to prove that it really does work.

And while Davison has helped launch the challenge state side, she isn’t the only one who has taken it on.

Other brave men and women have proudly shared their own photos on Twitter and Instagram.
