A husband was being unfaithful to his wife, and he didn’t really care as long as he was having fun with his beautiful Italian mistress. One day, though, the mistress announced that she was pregnant. The man knew he had to figure a way out of this, or he could lose everything.
The man did not want to go through an expensive divorce, so he ended the affair and convinced the mistress to keep the love child a secret.
“Go back to Italy and have the baby,” he said. “When the child is born, send me an anonymous postcard that says ‘spaghetti.’ I’ll know you had the baby, and will start sending child support.”

The mistress went back to Italy and months went by. The man had put the whole incident in the back of his mind and carried on with life as usual.

One day, the man came home and he asked his wife how her day went.
“Strange,” she said. “We got a postcard in the mail but I don’t know who it’s from and I can’t figure out what it means.”
The man asked to see it, and it read, “Spaghetti, spaghetti, spaghetti, spaghetti, spaghetti. Three with meatballs, two without them. Please send more sauce.”
