Natural Toothpaste Recipe For Whiter Teeth

Keeping our teeth clean and healthy is almost as much a part of our life as breathing. Yet, we still pay for commercial toothpaste that are full of chemicals and can add up in price. Good thing it’s really easy to make your own at home full of natural ingredients!

Natural Toothpaste Recipe

The biggest ingredient that makes this toothpaste so useful is neem. Neem is a tree typically found in tropical regions, and has been used as a toothbrush substitute in developing countries for centuries. By breaking it down into twigs, you can chew on them to help treat gum disease, cavities and support overall teeth health.

This toothpaste doesn’t include fluoride and is full of potent antibacterial ingredients like baking soda, coconut oil and xylitol.

What you need

  • 3 tbsp. baking soda

  • 1 tbsp. neem powder

  • 3 tbsp. extra virgin coconut oil

  • 1 tbsp. xylitol

What to do

Mix into a container until it turns into a paste. Depending on the outside temperature, the coconut oil can harden, so make sure it’s room temperature. Store in a small glass jar to use it easily.
