When Gemma Swift was just six-years-old, she started to learn what it meant to be the victim of bullying. After getting into a horrific accident, her front teeth were damaged. They no longer looked normal so other children began bullying her.

Because she has been victimized for something she couldn’t control about the way she looked, she admits that the abuse has taken a toll on her happiness. And one day, she decided that she was going to do something about it and change.

She couldn’t wait to show her bullies her new look…

The clip on The Jeremy Kyle Show will inspire you. Just seeing her new smile will make you smile. But after hearing how bad she was bullied, you’ll want to fight back against those mean people.

“How bad was it?” the host asks Gemma.

“Well, basically. They called me a *****. A buck tooth ****. Everything me like that. When I walk the streets everyone is going to basically look at me. And make fun of me. And that’s why I didn’t go out as much.”

Not only was the problem with her teeth caused by an accident that happened when she was just a little girl, but she could not get the financial help she needed either. Thankfully, the TV show stepped in and helped turn her life around.

“It has changed my life around. I look in the mirror and everything now and not worry about anything.”

The man who helped fix her teeth, Lance joined Gemma on the show and speaks at the 2:20-mark. The host wants to know how hard it was to fix her teeth.

“I’d first like to say that Gemma was a fantastic patient. She did very well in the surgeon. It was a very difficult case to do with a lot of hard to do.”

After speaking about how awesome she was, the dental surgeon turns to the audience and says:

“I really want to be clear to everybody. The people who can sit at home who think that ‘there’s nothing that can be done for me for my teeth’, ‘I’m beyond help,’ ‘it’s too expensive,’ ‘it’s too painful.’ There’s fantastic dentists out there and it is becoming more affordable.”

While it is awesome to see how much Gemma’s look has improved, at the 3:45-mark, Jeremy Kyle asks Gemma “What would you say to all those small-minded idiots who thought it was okay to say dreadful things to you.”

She knows exactly what.

“I would just totally blank them. I wouldn’t talk to any of them. I know who my friends are.”

While she might not say it, Jeremy Kyle knows how he’s respond to those bullies. He’d point to his teeth and say, “I look better than you, baby.”
