GIRL SCOUTS UNDER FIRE AFTER CONTROVERSIAL VIDEO GOES VIRAL

A video has been making the rounds of a bizarre hazing ritual involving some Girl Scouts in Mexico, and it was so disturbing that it led to the female scout leader being relieved of her duties. As the Sun reports, the incident went down in the Los Remedios National Park, and footage of it has been uploaded online.

The video depicts a young girl that’s estimated to be around five-years-old being subjected to hazing from older scouts. At one point, the terrified young girl is doused with Coca Cola, all while the leader eggs them on.

The Mexican Scout Association stepped in and took immediate action and terminated the leader.

“We condemn these acts and wish to express our repudiation for anything which goes against the principles of the scouting movement like this clear case of bullying involving children and young people,” a statement read in part.

Viewers of the video have expressed shock and disgust.

“This is not an example of what scouts in Mexico stand for. It’s an example of ignorance and the lack of education of some people,” shared one user.
