A family boating outing at the Kakadu National Park in Australia quickly turned into a terror-filled experience that would see one passenger lose their life. As the Daily Mail reports, a 62-year-old man was snatched directly off the boat by a crocodile.
The family watched in horror as the scene played out, and they made a desperate attempt to get some help. Unfortunately, they were one hour away from the nearest place and without cell phone reception. Once they were able to get some help, a frantic search for the man ensued.
A specialist search and rescue team spent the next two days searching for the man. The team located two crocodiles in South Alligator River, and proceeded to shoot them dead. The man’s remains were found inside one of them.

“I’ve seen plenty of large crocs. You do play Russian roulette with your life up there. I’ve seen big fellas sitting at the back of their boats with their a**** hanging over in just 12-foot tinnies. They take their life into their own hands up there,” shared Phil Weeidemier, who runs fishing trips in the area.
