Solid Dough
You’ll want to knead the dough until it become a solid ball.
You can also make your own dough with your favorite recipe, but the packets will save you time as you prepare your massive holiday feast!

Making The Cut
Once you’re done kneading the dough, cut it into four equal sections.

The Outline
Roll out each of the four dough sections until it becomes wide enough fit a large dinner plate, as seen below.
Use the dinner plate and a sharp cutting knife to trace a perfect circle. This circle will be the piece of dough you use for the rest of the recipe.
Pro Tip: Put the leftover dough into a plastic bag and store in the fridge. This will be perfect for kid-sized mini pizzas!

Now With The Good Stuff
Lather on a layer of yummy, chocolatey Nutella on the side of the dough facing up!

Yummy Layers
Carefully top the Nutella-covered side with the next piece of circled dough. Spread another layer of Nutella on top of that piece as well.
Repeat until you get to the last piece of circled dough. Do not top the last piece with anything.

Beginning To See The Star
Place a small shot or drinking glass in the center of the dough-Nutella pile. Then make 16 even cuts from the edge of the glass to the edge of the circle.

Flip It On Around
Take each of the sections you just cut and twist them in opposite directions as seen in the image below.

What It Should Look Like
At the end of the twisting step, your dough should look like this! Notice the cool geometric design – it’ll be even more pronounced after baking!

Pinch The Edges
Now, pinch the ends of the cut sections together. You’ll start to see a vague star shape forming – you’re getting there!

The Glaze Is Important
To prevent the dough from burning, brush on a light layer of egg whites before you throw it in the oven.

Time To Bake
You’ll want to cook this perfect holiday treat for about 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees fahrenheit. Check pastry after 15 minutes to make sure it’s not too crispy.
You’ll want the finished product to be an enticing golden-brown color.
