A man who has been charged for killing two children appeared before the judge in shorts and a t-shirt. The ‘casual’ guy just doesn’t get it.
You might think Matthew Deans would take his court appearance a little more seriously. He’s been charged with two counts of misdemeanor death by motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed. The man hit a family while driving recklessly and killed their two children.
The mother was eight months pregnant during the crash, and she was rushed into a C-section. The premature baby died as a result three days after he was born.

The couple’s two-year-old child Dobbs Eddings was killed in the crash on impact. The devastated couple was returning home from an anniversary celebration.

“Why are you going to show up to court dressed like that based on these charges?” the judge asked.
Deans, perhaps ashamed or perhaps being flippant, answered the judge in a voice too low to be heard. The judge ruled that she would postpone the court date.
