Social media is absolutely littered with family photos this time of the year, but this one really stood out for all the wrong reasons. As the Daily Mail shares, that’s because the family dog was apparently overcome with joy at the fact that he was included in the festivities.
The photo was shared on Reddit, and it took on a life of its own from that point. It’s a typical mash-up of friends and relatives that squeeze in tight so all can be captured by the camera lens. All told, 18 people are crammed in this pic, as well as the family pooch in the front row.

Pooch just couldn’t contain himself at the exact same time the pic was snapped, and he’s captured dropping a deuce on the family carpet. No word on what he had to eat that day, or how long it had been since he had been outside.

There’s also an unsubstantiated rumor floating around that he was displeased with the contents of his stocking, so he decided to make sure the family knew how disappointed he was.
