Three neighbors, including a brave 11-year-old boy, intervened to stop a man who had kidnapped a seven-year-old girl in Wichita Falls, Texas.
The attempted kidnapping happened over the weekend, and a man named Raeshawn Perez was arrested and charged with aggravated kidnapping.
The young man, named TJ Warren, saw Perez take the girl. He ran to the nearest home, and told neighbor Brad Ware and his girlfriend what he had witnessed. According to the police report, the three managed to follow the kidnapper and restrained him until police arrived.

As TJ ran after the suspect, the couple jumped in their car to follow the suspect.
When TJ waved, they then saw Perez trying to push the girl through the window of a deserted home. Perez noticed that he had been seen and people were approaching and tried to get away, but Ware tackled him and subdued kept him down until the police arrived.
“I caught him in the street and kicked him in the groin when I had him,” Ware commented. “He ran across the street, he hit the grass and that’s when I tackled him.”
Perez eventually admitted to detectives he was planning to have sex with the young girl before taking her back home afterwards.
