An unidentified soldier was finally returning home, and he called up his mom and dad to let them know he’d be bringing someone along with him. As Shareably reports, his parents’ cold response would lead to a tragic turn of events.
He phoned his parents to happily inform them he was coming home, but he let them know someone would be tagging along.
“There’s something you should know. he was hurt pretty badly in the fighting. He stepped on a landmine and lost an arm and a leg. He has nowhere else to go, and I want him to come live with us,” the son explained.

The parents explained that the guest could stay for a bit, but that’s as far as they were willing to go.

“Someone with such a handicap would be a terrible burden on us. We have our own lives to live, and we can’t let something like this interfere with our lives. I think you should just come home and forget about this guy,” the father said.
A few days later, they would receive a tragic phone call. Their son had passed away, and they were asked to come identify the body. They would be stunned to find that he had not only committed suicide – but that he was the man with one arm and one leg.
