SERVERS DID UNTHINKABLE TO LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT MULTIPLE TIMES WHILE THEY ATE

Employees at the Smashburger restaurant in Aurora, Colorado apparently really like the NWA song “F*** Tha Police,” and they decided to play it over and over one day. Coincidentally, a member of local law enforcement just happened to be in the dining room while the song continually blared out.

As KDVR explains, the officer relayed the incident to some colleagues, and the incident took on a life of its own from that point. Corporate management, members of local law enforcement and a good portion of the local community fails to see the humor. In fact, the restaurant chain is downright livid.

“First and foremost, we respect and value police officers and law enforcement officials. Any music other than our contracted music service is unauthorized in our stores and against policy during business hours, a statement from Smashburger began.

It also sounds like the manager on duty will have plenty of time to enjoy that particular track on his own time.

“The manager on duty during this incident has been placed on investigative leave. We are gathering more information around this matter, which in no way reflects our values as an organization,” the statement continued.
