CONWAY: TRUMP’S IMMIGRATION PLAN IS NOT BASED ON RELIGION

The hiring of Kellyanne Conway has often been referred to as a turning point in the presidential campaign of President-elect Donald Trump, as his message became much more clear from that point. She’s still making the talk show rounds on Trump’s behalf, and slated to assume a key role in the upcoming administration.

As shared by CNN, she provided yet another example of what she brings to the table for team Trump. While being interviewed on the network’s ‘New Day’ program, Conway was peppered with questions on Trump’s immigration policy by host Chris Cuomo, and she provided him with some much needed clarity.

“You’re going back to over a year ago in what he said about the (Muslim) ban versus what he said later about it, when he made it much more specific and talked about countries where we know that they’ve got a higher propensity of training and exporting terrorists,” she said.

Cuomo continued to attempt to pull the conversation back towards his preferred interpretation of things, but Conway wasn’t having it when he essentially implied that Trump was flip-flopping.

“He doesn’t go back and forth on anything based on criticism. I mean, if you’re us, and certainly if you’re him, you are impervious to naysayers and critics in terms of them changing policy,” she explained.
