NOT WANTING TO LOSE HIS WIFE, MAN GIVES UP HIS OWN ADMINISTERING CPR TO HER

A family in North Carolina is dealing with an absolutely heartbreaking tragedy. As the Daily Mail reports, a 67-year-old man collapsed and died of a heart attack while he was attempting to arrive his wife that had also just collapsed.

Johnny Hatley was home with his wife, 66-year-old Teresa Ann Brooks Hatley, when she suddenly collapsed. He leapt into action and began performing CPR on his wife, but he would have a heart attack himself. Johnny was pronounced dead at the scene, as was his wife.

The couple’s daughters are absolutely devastated as you would imagine, but they’re taking solace in the fact that the couple passed away together.

The couple was married for 31 years, and they owned a local store that was affectionately known as ‘Johnny’s.’

“I will miss these two so much. I still can’t believe they are gone…I’m still waiting on my phone to ring, and hear Johnny say “Well Tabbyloo what days you workin’ this week?” So I could say “That’s what you get paid the big bucks to figure out!” shared cashier Tabitha Alanis.
