They Are Considered The Most Dangerous Roads In The World. Would You Dare Drive On Them?

Many people go on drives to relax their minds. I know it’s one of my favorite ways to unwind. After getting in an argument or when bad news comes, the best way for me to burn it off is to jump in my pickup, roll down the windows, and blast my favorite songs. Although I’m a terrible singer and am probably embarrassing myself, I don’t care. It helps me unwind and it is fun.

While driving is usually a relaxing experience, unless you’re an adrenaline junkie the most dangerous roads in the world are will make your heart pound and your blood pressure rise. Check out these dastardly routes and tell us if you’d ever dare drive them!

In Khardung La, India, you’ll find what is probably the most dangerous and death-defying road on the entire planet. If you’ve fantasized about dodging rockslides and near-death experiences, then you should book a trip and rent a car because Khardung La is waiting for you.

In China, the Guoliang Tunnel is a terrifying experience – no matter how great of a driver you are. Even NASCAR drivers like Tony Stewart would cower at this long-dark tunnel. This 1200-meter long tunnel has twists and turns and goes right through a mountain.

In Japan, only the country’s biggest daredevils dare drive the Eshima Ohashi Bridge. This bridge over water is more like a roller coaster than a road. And because the port town wanted large ships to be able to travel under it, the bridge was built at a near vertical angle that defies gravity.

In Norway, the Atlantic Ocean Road is a tourist favorite. It travels over open water and offers visitors breathtaking views. But if you’re not careful, a wave can come out of the ocean depths and sweep your vehicle clear off the road. However, for the die-hard photographers, the risk might be worth it.

India is apparently known for their terrifying and deadly roads. The Zoji La was built to connect Ladakh with Kashmir – but it doesn’t seem to have been updated for the 21st century yet. With rocky terrain, this road is extremely narrow and is better used as a cattle trail than a motor vehicle road.

Hana in Hawaii is a winding mountain road that is often closed because of landslides. If you take this narrow road on the island of Maui be aware that earth could be sliding toward you at any moment.

The “Kolima” in Russia is nicknamed “the death road.” This portion of a highway built by prisoners from 1932 to 1953 looks like a scene out of Dracula or a horror film.

Which of these roads would you want to drive?
