But after Daisy came into the lives of two special little girls, Daisy’s story became one that the Hilden family will never forget. They found her just two months after she ran away from home. The whole time, Susan Hilden tried to capture Daisy who she saw running through the field near her house – but she wasn’t able to even get close to the dog.

After Susan explains her research, it’s amazing to see how she traced the dog’s previous owner back to the Toppings family. Meghan Topping, just six years old, has learned to truly see into the hearts of animals. Through the hundreds of interactions with foster dogs that she has experienced with her mother, Meghan was able to connect with Daisy in a way that no one else could. When Meghan’s moment with Daisy was captured, it simply stunned everyone.
