TEACHER CRUELLY MAKES 3-YEAR-OLD BOY SUFFER AFTER HE WET HIMSELF

A Head Start program in Maryland is being investigated due to allegations of abuse. The county’s Head Start federal funding is being suspended for the time being because of failure to take immediate action.

Employees at Winship Wheatley Early Childhood Center are being investigated for child abuse after allegedly forcing a three-year-old child to mop up his own urine. The child had an accident during nap time, and as a punishment he had to mop it up in front of his classmates while still wearing his wet clothes. A teacher snapped some photos of the child on her cell phone and sent them to the child’s parent.

“LOL,” read the cell phone texts. “He worked that mop, tho.”

Upon investigation, authorities discovered that preschoolers were made to hold heavy boxes of books over their heads as a punishment. In another report, a five-year-old in one school left unnoticed and wandered home by herself.

“The review found that a teacher and an assistant teacher humiliated and used corporal punishment on two children as a method of discipline”, said one report.

When federal agencies asked for policies and procedures from the Prince George district, school officials refused to provide the documents. The district promptly received a letter stating that their Head Start grant was terminated. The school system has the right to appeal, according to the letter.
