Everyone that attended school remembers what it was like. Lots of lectures, tons of homework, and a bunch of rushing around from class to class.
It’s a stressful environment on its own — can you imagine being pregnant on top of that?

What about having to bring your newborn baby with you to class because either you don’t have a sitter or it just makes the most sense for you and the baby?
I give those ladies so much credit for being able to manage it all! I can’t imagine they get the most support from their classmates or professors when they do this.
But some professors truly go above and beyond to help their students. These are the teachers that I love to hear about.
When Dr. Josie Ryan noticed her math student, Sarah Thompson, was nine months pregnant, she told her how much she loved babies and told Sarah to bring her baby in any time.
Sarah, who attended school all throughout her pregnancy, wasn’t sure how serious her professor was, but she took her up on the offer three weeks after she had her son, Isaiah.
What she didn’t expect was that Dr. Ryan would hold him throughout the entire class! Apparently, he didn’t even cry. Now Sarah brings him to class with her at least once a week!
If you love seeing professors who care about their students like this, you will also love this professor who helped out a new mom after her babysitter canceled on her at the last minute.
