You’ll Never Cook Your Potatoes Any Other Way After Seeing This Secret Outback Recipe

Outback Steakhouse’s signature baked potatoes draw in more customers than their steaks. It’s the most popular item served in the restaurant chain. The recipe for those potatoes has been leaked, and now you can easily make your own right at home.

All you need to make your family very happy is six potatoes, 1/2 cup of extra-virgin olive oil, two tablespoons of kosher salt, and your favorite potato toppings. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Scrub down the potatoes and pat them dry. Rub them down with the EVOO. You don’t want them dripping, but you do want them oiled up nicely and evenly. Place them on a baking sheet and sprinkle them with salt.

No foil necessary! Maybe that’s the secret to that crispy skin. Pop the potatoes in the oven for 50 to 55 minutes until they’re fork tender.

Serve them fresh from the oven, topped if you like with butter, cheese or sour cream. Serve them while they’re hot!
