A dog owner would try to put her puppy in a small kennel, only to find later that the pup was out running around with her 6-year-old German Shepherd. She couldn’t figure out how the smaller dog was getting free, so she set up a video.
A woman on a YouTube channel called ‘TheJulieCaitlin’ started the video before putting her Maltese puppy, Sophie, in her kennel. Her older German Shepherd, Twitch, was looking on as the woman latched the kennel door and covered it with a towel.
Twitch watched as the human left the room. As soon as Twitch was sure the human was gone, he tugged at the towel to remove it. With a flick of his nose, Twitch unlatched the door and he used his paw to pull it open.

Sophie stepped out and the two ran off together.

Some are calling the video staged; just before it ends, another human in the room who remains off camera apparently turns off the video– the familiar noise can be heard before the film ends.
Others say it doesn’t matter; whether Twitch was trained or just that sneaky, he still learned how to free his friend. Either way, the film is adorable. It’s gotten more than 5 million views.
