Natalee Holloway Case Takes Unexpected Turn After Suspects Makes Unexpected Confession

More than a decade after the murder of Natalee Holloway, her alleged murder reportedly admitted to the killing.

A new video by Radar Online showed Joran van der Sloot speaking to his wife and an undercover reporter about the 2005 disappearance of American teen Holloway while she was on vacation in Aruba.

“I always lied to the police. I never told the truth,” van der Sloot said, grinning while seemingly confessing to the murder, speaking in Dutch.

“I never told the truth. I made up so many stories against the police … Also when I was younger, I never told everything. The police just never knew what they had to ask me.”

Holloway met van der Sloot at a bar in Aruba in May of 2005, when she was 18 years old. She left the bar with him but was never seen alive again. He was arrested the following month but released in September 2005 due to lack of evidence.

“I think that was one of the worst police investigations that ever took place!” van der Sloot said in the clip.

“Are you talking about the Holloway case?” the undercover reporter asked him.

“Yes yes yes,” he replied. “Yes, this is also where I am guilty and I accept everything that I have done.”

Van der Sloot spoke to the reporter from a prison in Peru, where he is serving time for the 2010 murder of Peruvian woman Stephany Flores.

Van der Sloot has never admitted to killing Holloway, and her disappearance remained a mystery for the past decade, until the release of the video. The undercover reporter in the clip was an operative hired on behalf of Radar Online and The National Enquirer.

A 2015 report from Fox News Latino stated that van der Sloot had begun to fear for his life while locked up at Challapalca Prison. His wife, Leydi, spoke to Fox News Latino, sharing a memo written by her husband that begged authorities to protect him.

“I beg authorities to take action on my case before it’s too late and blood is spilled, with all due respect,” he wrote.

Amazon Alexa, a virtual personal assistant that operates through Amazon’s Echo device, recently offered a child his choice of porn (video below).

In a video uploaded by YouTube user f0t0b0y on Dec. 29, the boy asks the device, “Play tickle, tickle” or “ticker, ticker.”

Alexa replies via Echo: “You want to hear a station for porn, detected. Porn region, hot chick, amateur girl–.”

At that point, the adults in the room start yelling, “No! No!” as the boy is dumbfounded by their alarm.

However, Alexa keeps on going: “Hot p*****, anal dildo, ring–”

A man shouts, “Alexa stop!” and the device quits listing the X-rated choices.

f0t0b0y wrote this caption on YouTube: “Why!?!? We just got our new echo dot and this happened!?!?”

The video has gone viral with over one million views in two days.

An Amazon spokesperson told Mashable on Dec. 30: “This issue has been fixed, and we are working to build additional restrictions to prevent this from happening in the future. We have also contacted the customer to apologize.”

In another mechanical failure, 17 people were marooned on a ride — 125 feet in the air — for several hours on Dec. 30 at Knotts Berry Farm, a popular amusement park attraction in Orange County, California.

The park goers became stuck in the Sky Cabin ride, a “fully enclosed revolving observational deck,” at around 2pm, reports The Orange County Register.

Park officials said in a statement at 6:15pm: “The park’s maintenance team made several attempts to bring the attraction down, we contacted the Orange County Fire Authority.”

Buena Park Police announced at 7:15 p.m. that the passengers were being lowered down by a rope by fire department personnel.

While no one was injured, it’s not clear why the park waited so long to contact outside help.

Park officials chirped in their statement: “As always, the safety of our guests and employees is our number one priority.”

Drunk Pilot Tries To Fly Plane, Passengers Take Action (Video)

An Indonesian pilot for Citilink, a low-cost subsidiary of national flag carrier Garuda Indonesia, was fired for allegedly reporting to work drunk with the intention of flying an airplane (video below).

On the morning of December 28, Captain Tekad Purna, 32, was scheduled to fly from Juanda International Airport in Surabaya, East Java, to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta, the Associated Press reports.

Passengers claimed he was slurring his words and speaking unclearly during a flight announcement before takeoff, which prompted many to disembark from the plane because they suspected he was drunk or under the influence of drugs.

There were 154 passengers on the Airbus A320, but when a new pilot was assigned to the flight some decided to cancel their reservations instead of using the carrier.

Video footage of Tekad going through security at the airport shows him unsteady on his feet, unable to stand up straight, and dropping his belongings.

Tekad underwent a medical test at a clinic and another was given by the Flight Health Agency, according to The Jakarta Post. The results of the test are pending.

Citilink previously denied reports that Tekad was drunk, stating initial alcohol and drug tests were negative, the Associated Press reports.

An investigation into Tekad’s actions is ongoing, and he has been banned by Minister of Transportation Budi Karya from flying pending the outcome. If he is found guilty of being drunk or under the influence of drugs while on duty his license will be revoked.

On December 30, Citilink announced that Tekad had been fired for breaching procedures, a violation that puts the lives of passengers at risk.

Two executives of the company, President Director Albert Burhan and Operational Director Hadinoto Soedigno, resigned from their positions that same day because of the incident.

“The pilot had committed serious violation of standard operation procedure that endangered passengers,” Burhan said, according to the Associated Press. “We apologize for the discomfort. I have to be responsible for that and therefore I and my production director resign.”

Citilink Vice President of Corporate Communications Benny S. Butarbutar told The Jakarta Post that Burhan’s resignation must be approved by the company’s board of commissioners and its parent company.

The doctor said that she saw the telltale signs – there were blue plastic pellets stuck in Emily’s gums.

The microbeads are made of a plastic called polyethylene, and you can find them in other heath and beauty products like face and body scrubs. The FDA has not approved the use of microbeads in toothpaste (but has given the green light for them to be used in other products).

But because toothpaste is considered OTC (over the counter) and the microbeads are not active ingredients, their use is not under scrutiny. In 2014, Cherlye Pestana posted her experience on Facebook. Proctor and Gamble, the company who makes Crest toothpaste said back in 2104 that they would remove the microbeads from their products.

No Crest toothpaste on any shelf should contain the beads. If you have any Crest toothpaste in your home, you may also have microbeads in your gums. Go see your dentist and don’t use that toothpaste any longer! Share away, people.

Donald Ray Guy, 27, was holding his girlfriend and her 11-year-old daughter against their will in Louisiana. He had reportedly kept the two locked in a mobile home for several weeks. The mother wrote a note on a tattered piece of notebook paper and gave it to her daughter to take to school.

It is not clear what the note said, but it indicated the mother was in some trouble and needed help. The girl took the note to her school, East Feliciana Middle School, and when school officials read the note, they called the police. Sheriff Jeff Travis said his office was contacted on November 1.

Officers with a K-9 unit went to the mobile home. They knocked on the door, but there was no response. After obtaining a warrant, they returned and found Guy hiding in the closet and arrested him. The mother was not harmed, but she had been scared to leave.

She didn’t have a car, couldn’t talk on the phone, and the mobile home was in a rural area. Also arrested were Guy’s grandmother and mother. Travis reported that the little girl is a sweet kid and is in good spirits. Guy now faces charges of false imprisonment and domestic abuse battery.

Guy is being held without bail and as of now he has no legal representation. Guy also had three (at least) outstanding warrants on him. The mother is relieved to be out of that situation. I would be too! Share away, people.

If you’re waking up during 3 am to 5 am, your lungs might be an issue. They say the lungs at that hour are filling the body with nourishing oxygen and replenishing themselves. Waking at this hour indicates you may need to begin practicing some daily breathing exercises.

Your large intestines are doing their job from 5 to 7 am. Waking up means you probably need a bowel movement. Drink more water throughout the day and you should be fine.

Of course, if you’re waking at this hour, it could also just be the alarm clock telling you that it’s time to go to work. Always take these kinds of medical claims with a grain of salt, but you never know. There may be something that keeps these old bits of wisdom alive.

TRUMP ENCOURAGES BUSINESSES TO ‘HIRE AMERICAN’

Donald Trump continues to call for the U.S. government to “hire American.”

The president-elect said Thursday on Instagram that when he becomes president, federal agencies will abide by “two simple rules.” According to The Hill, he has been urging business leaders to refrain from moving U.S. jobs to other countries and to reduce the cost of projects for the government.

At a rally last month, the president-elect told a crowd of supporters: “Remember, years ago, we used to proudly display ‘Made in the USA.’ … We don’t see it. I don’t see it anymore. We ought to start doing that. Any of the manufacturers that were doing a lot of talking to a lot of companies that were thinking about leaving, and I tell ya, I don’t think they’re going to be leaving so fast anymore.”

Trump boasted that because of his efforts, two companies have decided to keep jobs in the country. He argued that the firms changed their plans because the U.S. economy is doing well.

However, the Trump Organization is still hiring non-Americans. One of the business empire’s operations, Trump Winery, reportedly has asked the Labor Department to allow it to use the government’s temporary work visas to employ additional foreigners. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Fla., also is staffed by foreign workers, The Hill noted.

Mom And Baby Die During Labor And Miraculously Come Back To Life

The day new parents welcome their baby into the world is supposed to be one of the best days of their life, however, that day quickly turned into a nightmare when one Colorado mom and her baby both died during labor.

“I was waiting to hear a baby cry. I was waiting for it and I never did hear it,” said dad Mike Hermanstorfer who was crushed when he was told his wife Tracy and their baby Colton were both dead. “They were changing monitors at that point in time and in the middle of changing monitors, she stopped breathing.”

“She was dead. She had no heartbeat, no breathing. She was as gray as her sweatsuit, no signs of life,” said Stephanie Martin, director of fetal medicine at Memorial Hospital. Doctors fought to revive her, but after a few failed attempts, they decided to do an emergency c-section to save the baby. Tragically, baby Colton had no heartbeat either. “The next thing I know, a nurse walks out and tells me that they’re going to bring Tracy out, and this is my chance to say goodbye, and a gurney rolls out covered up with a white sheet.”

When St. Louis police officer — Blake Snyder, 33, was killed in the line of duty in October 2016, he left behind his wife, Elizabeth, and their 2-year-old son, Malachi.

Blake Snyder was a four-year veteran of the force who was responding to a disturbance call in the early morning hours of October 6th. Upon arriving at the scene, the suspect, 18-year-old Trenton Forster, pulled a pistol and shot him point blank.

St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar said, “It was an immediately fatal wound.”

Upon hearing about Snyder’s death, another police wife from Granite City, Illinois, did something incredibly thoughtful and touching for Snyder’s heartbroken family.

The police wife from Illinois reached out to a company named Thea’s Blessing Bears and sent Malachi a precious gift: two teddy bears made out of his father’s police uniforms.

“She wanted us to have a piece of Blake with us, always,” said Elizabeth Snyder.

One teddy bear is wearing a patch from the St. Louis County Police Department. The other is stitched with police identification No. 4153, which belonged to the 2-year-old’s father — Officer Blake Snyder.

The family are trying their best to cope with their grief, but it’s difficult.

In a heartfelt post on Facebook, Elizabeth writes:

“It’s been 10 days…10 days since my heart was ripped from my chest. 10 days since my other half was taken from me. This pain that hasn’t subsided, that hasn’t alleviated, is unbearable and unending. But this child here- he has been the hope in my heartache. He is the reason I get up each day. The reason I keep it together as best I can. The reason I push through.”

Elizabeth Snyder, who grew up in a family of law enforcement officers, said she and Blake had talked about the grim possibility, but she never expected it to happen.

She said when Malachi first saw the bears, he said, “Bears, bears!” and then called out for his father. “He definitely knows there’s a connection between the bears and Blake,” she said.

With Malachi being so young, the mother hasn’t been able to properly explain to her son why his father is gone.

Although Malachi has lost his father, she wants him to understand one thing.

The mother wants him to understand that “his father was selfless, and he gave his life for others. He saved his partners, he saved the people in that house, he put his life on the line for his community.”

An emotional story about a police officer who made the ultimate sacrifice. My deepest condolences goes out to the family and friends of Officer Snyder, especially Malachi who lost his father at such a young age.

Anthony Yorfido is a young man with down syndrome that visited a medical supply store one day. If there’s one thing you need to know about Anthony, it’s that he’s a huge Aerosmith fan. He wanted to get tickets to the upcoming Aerosmith concert in Welland, Ont., but he couldn’t because they were all sold out. As he entered the medical supply store, however, he noticed a man looking for a back brace that he instantly recognized. Anthony’s mom, Diane, said,

“I’m looking at him and I know his face, but I couldn’t think of his name.” But Anthony did. “He goes, ‘Oh, my God! Steven Tyler, is that you?’”

Anthony immediately went over to his idol and gave him a big hug. Steven graciously hugged him back and asked Anthony if he would be going to the show tonight.

When Anthony told Steven how he couldn’t get any tickets because they were all sold out, Steven said, “Oh, don’t worry about that, you guys are coming with me. I’ll get you backstage passes.” If that wasn’t already enough, Steven decided to something even more special for Anthony later that night at the concert. Want to know what Steven did? A photo of a Marine veteran standing outside of Walmart has stirred up controversy on social media According to reports, the vet and his wife were participating in the annual Toys for Tots campaign when store employees told them they would have to take it outside.

John and Lynn Harkness stood outside the Medina, Ohio store in the brutal weather on Saturday. For more than 15 years, he and his wife were able to stand inside the store to collect toys to go to underprivileged children. New management put Mr. and Mrs. Harkness in the cold.

A woman moved by this shared a photo of Mr. Harkness on social media.

“There was a woman who came up to me and said ‘can I take your picture?’ I said sure, so her husband took my picture and she went from there,” Harkness explained.

The store got harsh criticism for leaving a former Marine collecting for charity to stand out in the cold. Many people saw it as disrespectful.

Lynn is the Toys for Tots Coordinator for Medina County and says it’s worse than just disrespectful. Many vets suffer health problems and it could be dangerous for them to stand out in the freezing temperatures. “We have the Auxiliary and the Marines helping they are in their 60s most of them and on up. A couple of the Marines have had cancer surgery and their health isn’t the best, being out in the bad weather could damage their health,” she explained.

Walmart issued a statement saying they ‘are looking into this matter’. The statement said they do support veterans and charities, but, “Walmart’s corporate policy across our more than 4500 stores does not allow this type of solicitation inside our stores and we apologize for any confusion about this policy.”

NFL PLAYER TRAGICALLY DIES IN A FREAK ACCIDENT

A vacation over Christmas break led to tragedy for the family of former NFL star Keion Carpenter, who has passed away after a freak accident. As the Daily Mail reports, the 39-year-old simply slipped and fell while running to his car with his young son.

Carpenter slipped into a coma for the next 24 hours, and he was pronounced dead at the Jackson South Community Hospital. He was on vacation with his family in Miami at the time.

“They were running to the car when he slipped, fell, hit his head and slipped into a coma. It was just a freak accident. He was always healthy; he went to the doctor, ate well and worked out,” said Carpenter’s cousin, Jamila Smith.

Carpenter retired from the NFL in 2005 after stints with the Buffalo Bills and Atlanta Falcons. Since his time away from the gridiron, Carpenter has dedicated himself to philanthropic work through his non-profit organization, The Carpenter House. The non-profit offers a number of services to economically disadvantaged families and children with the goal of helping them reach their potential.

Carpenter leaves behind his wife, Tonia, and four children.

NFL PLAYER TRAGICALLY DIES IN A FREAK ACCIDENT

His Parents Told Him His Tail Was A Good Luck Charm. But After Keeping It A Secret For 18 Years, He Finally Went To The Hospital

This Indian boy concealed his tail for 18 years because his parents convinced him it was good luck. Now, he’s finally getting it removed and couldn’t be more relieved.

A boy (whose name hasn’t been released for privacy) in western India recently walked into Super Specialty Hospital in Nagpur, Maharashtra and told doctors that his tail was giving him incredible pain.

That was when doctors finally discovered that this 18-year-old boy had been born with a tail that had now grown to be seven inches in length.

For his entire life, the boy had sought to conceal it. His parents told him that his tail was a good luck charm, that he shouldn’t get it removed, and that he should hide it from others.

After 18 years of listening to his parents’ advice, the boy finally couldn’t take it any longer.

The tail was giving him “extreme pain in his lower back, problems while sleeping and sitting.” Dr. Pramod Giri, head of the neurosurgery department at Super Specialty Hospital, noted that “the boy was also suffering from an extreme psychological issue because the tail was growing so he had to always adjust the tail in his clothes when sitting.”

Thankfully, the surgery to remove the tail wasn’t complicated. Dr. Giri knew he had to proceed with caution, since the tail connected to the boy’s spinal cord, but because the tail didn’t otherwise contain any bone or muscle, it was an otherwise simple procedure.

Even just a few days after the successful operation, the boy is much happier and relieved to have the abnormal growth removed.

“He is very happy. He is now very comfortable while sleeping and sitting. He says he feels more confident about himself now,” Dr. Giri said.

Armed Thug Shot By Good Samaritan, Here’s His Family’s RIDICULOUS Response

When someone acts irrationally and commits a crime, they’re typically held accountable for those actions no matter who they are. But not Adric White. After he was shot while robbing a Dollar General, his family wasn’t mad at him for his criminal behavior. Instead, they were furious at the good Samaritan who shot him.

According to Fox 10:

The Good Samaritan, who we are not identifying, told FOX10 News he was shopping at the Family Dollar on Stanton road when he noticed a masked gunman leading one of the employees to the front of the store. “He had the gun to his head. He had him on his knees,” said the man. “I drew my gun on him and I said ‘Hey don’t move.’ At that point he swung around and before he had a chance to aim the gun at me, I fired. I didn’t want to shoot him.”

The concealed carry savior pumped out 5 rounds, and although it’s unclear how many shots actually hit White, he was rushed to a nearby hospital and treated for his wounds.

White’s family is standing by his side. Instead of the whole “actions have consequences” conversation that they should have been having, they’ve been doing their best to voice outrage that their boy had been shot “unnecessarily.” Here’s an idea, if you don’t commit gun crimes, then you won’t get shot “unnecessarily” by a concealed carry holder protecting the lives of the good people in their community.

According to an unidentified female member of White’s family:

“If his (the customer) life was not in danger, if no one had a gun up to him, if no one pointed a gun at him – what gives him the right to think that it’s okay to just shoot someone? You should have just left the store and went wherever you had to go in your car or whatever.”

Well, she was right about one thing. The shooting was unnecessary, but the fault doesn’t fall at the hands of the good Samaritan. What do you guys think about this – why do you think anyone would justify the cowardly acts of the thug knowing full well who was in the wrong here?

Each time a train would pass, Panda would come back to his friend and lay with her. Each train would pass over, and Lucy had just enough room not to be hit by the passing cars. Night and day the two dogs remained by each other’s side.

It was Christmas Day when Denis Malafeyev heard from his friends about the two dogs. Denis, a champion for hurt and injured dogs, rushed out to help the two dogs. Panda was not willing to let him get too close, however.

Just because a dog is a stray, some people think they can treat them any way they please. It’s one of life’s unfortunate realities, and this guy was guilty of thinking just that.

A man in Chongqing, China found a stray dog in his parking spot and decided to kick it out of there – literally. He kicked the dog until it went away. Little did he realize, his karma was going to catch up to him very shortly.

Instead of trying to gently get the dog away from his space, or even trying to just make enough noise to drive it away without violence, this guy decided to kick the dog. Imagine his surprise when he came back a few minutes later and saw the dog doing this to his car!

That’s right! The dog went and rounded up a few buddies and they started chewing the heartless man’s car.

I bet he’ll remember this the next time he thinks about kicking a dog!

HILARIOUS ISIS Hunting Skit With Decoy Goat Will Have You In Stitches

Well, the folks over at Tactical Sh*t are at it again, this time with a hilarious sketch on how to not only lure, but kill ISIS members.

The instructional hunting video comes in the form of a skit where the instructor details how exactly to get an ISIS member where you want them – with a decoy goat of course. As described, this isn’t your ordinary goat, but rather an IEG (improvised explosive goat) that detonates upon penetration.

After demonstrating exactly where and how to place your IED, the instructor then gives a few sprays of “Ode de’ Goat’s A**” just upwind of where ISIS members are expected to be and retreats to a safe vantage point.

Simply wait for an unsuspecting ISIS member to come along and – BOOM – one less “allahu akbar” shouting maniac for the world to worry about.

Wife Gets EMBARRASSING Revenge on Cheating Spouse and Sister [PHOTOS]

Hell hath no fury like a scorned woman, and this one definitely got her revenge using technology and quick action to “expose” her (now ex) husband, who had been cheating with his wife’s twin sister — which only adds insult to injury.

When 29-year-old Ting Su learned her husband and twin were cheating on her, she put a mobile phone application to work and was able to track the two down at a shopping center. That’s where she found her 30-year-old husband Chang with her sister in a parked car completely naked. According to the Metro‘s report of the incident, the cheating couple were shocked when they saw Su and immediately jumped out of the vehicle, seemingly forgetting they had nothing on but the radio.

Thanks to some quick thinking, Ting immediately seized the opportunity of the two standing in the busy parking lot in broad daylight — completely naked — and jumped in their car and sped off. Chang and the twin sister were left right where they stood, fully exposed, according to MTVNews.

You Meng, 33, who witnessed Ting’s revenge, got a kick out of how the event unfolded. “It was so funny. Loads of people were grabbing their phones and I did as well,” Meng said. “He was banging his fist on the window and shouting at her, and she just wasn’t playing ball.”

Reports reveal that Cheng had been cheating with his wife’s twin beginning shortly after Ting gave birth to their own set of twins. The mother-of-two has since filed for divorce.

A restaurant in a Nigerian hotel was raided by authorities when they got the report that the establishment was serving human meat to customers. Various reports say fresh human remains were found on the premises, though the extent of what authorities found remains unclear.

The hotel’s name has been withheld, but a customer tipped off police that human flesh was being cooked and served. According to some sources, police raided and found fresh human heads draining in bags. In other reports, there were rotting skulls found on the premises. The owner claims business rivals planted them there and that the claim about him serving human flesh was a fabrication.

Snopes.com reports that many articles on the incident may contain fabricated claims and witness quotes. There is no reputable source verifying that heads were found in the hotel, though a source for the restaurant serving human flesh has been confirmed.

The hotel has since been demolished.

MAN SEES SOMETHING UNREAL OUTSIDE PLANE'S WINDOW - THE PHOTO IS GOING VIRAL

When you’re traveling in an airplane about 5,000 feet in the air, there are only a few things you expect to see when you look out the window. Clouds and the landscape below come to mind, but most passengers aren’t expecting to see a massive pole that appears to be levitating in the air.

As the Daily Mail reports, that’s what this passenger traveling from Malaga, Spain to Bristol in the UK saw, and he quickly snapped a pic. He couldn’t shake his curiosity, so he posted the image to Reddit – and that sparked all kinds of conversation.

“If it’s not something on the ground, which I find inconceivable as I was over the sea, then WTF is it? Is it ours? Also is anybody good at judging sizes – it’s massive! I saw it with my eyes first, it was 100 per cent outside of the aircraft. I think seeing it from different angles, one reflective and the other literally just sticking straight up,” his post read in part.

Some users have speculated that the ‘levitating’ pole was actually the mast from the Mendip Transmitting Station, but that only reaches 961 feet in the air.

ADMIRAL GIVES SPEECH ABOUT PEARL HARBOR 75TH ANNIVERSARY, BASHES ANTHEM PROTESTER - CROWD RESPONDS

In the past year, a number of professional athletes have made headlines for ‘taking a knee’ during the national anthem. Colin Kaepernick, one of the first to get attention for the silent protest, even made the cover of ‘Time’ for it. Rather than show respect for the good things the U.S. represents, and for the individuals who fight for those things, they’d rather ‘opt out’ in protest of the things that some people might be doing wrong. One Navy Admiral made a comment about anthem protesters in a classy and poignant way.

U.S. Pacific Command Commander Adm. Harry Harris spoke at the 75th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on Wednesday. The event was held on a pier across the harbor from where the 1941 attack took place. Thousands of people came to remember those American soldiers who were killed in the attack.

Harris’ statement about the current anthem protests really hit home with the crowd. “You can bet that the men and women we honor today — and those who died that fateful morning 75 years ago — never took a knee and never failed to stand whenever they heard our national anthem being played,” he said.

The audience hooted and cheered loudly for the comment. Harris went on: “Hearing the words ‘the land of the free and the home of the brave’ means something special for every American, every day…. But today — on December 7th — it takes on extraordinary significance, as we’re joined here in this hallowed place by World War II veterans and survivors of the attacks on military bases all across Oahu, including right here at Pearl Harbor.”

A spokesperson for Pacific Command was questioned about the comments made by the admiral, but he said they ‘speak for themselves.’

Brittany Sonnier, a 23-year-old resident of Holly Hill, Florida, is no stranger to the penal system. As the Daily Mail reports, her latest charge stems from having sex with her teenage neighbor and plying him with marijuana, just two years after she was arrested for having sexual relations with a pair of dogs.

The teen informed his parents of the inappropriate relationship he was having with Sonnier after he became aware of her previous brush with the law. He was concerned that he contracted some sort of venereal disease due her sexual activities with canines.

Sonnier, who is the mother of a three-year-old, has been charged with lewd and lascivious battery sex act with a minor, and she confessed to providing the teen with alcohol and marijuana. A former boyfriend of Sonnier has revealed that she confessed to being intimate with dogs ever since she was 13.

The unidentified man reportedly approached Sonnier’s father to discuss it, and the father informed him that he was aware of it. The boyfriend decided it was best to end the relationship from that point.

Some women don't want kids. And that's OK. This comic breaks it down.

Kate McDonough doesn’t want kids, and some people can’t seem to wrap their head around that.

She’s thoughtful, patient, and enjoys working with kids. She even hopes to be an art therapist one day. But that doesn’t mean Kate is interested in motherhood.

“I have never felt the desire to be a mom, even when I try to force it,” she wrote on her blog.”It’s just not in me. I think it would be much worse to become a mother to a child that I do not want than to disappoint people who expect motherhood of me.”

McDonough isn’t alone — more women than ever before are choosing not to be parents.

For most of them, the decision is easy. Some may choose to focus on their education or career; others may not be able to afford it or might choose not to for medical or health reasons. And some just aren’t interested in raising kids.

Frankly, their reasons aren’t anyone’s business. Because the only problem with not wanting to have children is how much other people take issue with the choice. Women who choose not to have kids are often singled out for being selfish or not understanding what “real love” is(whatever that means). While other questions or remarks are less malicious, that doesn’t make them any less frustrating or hurtful.

“Part of the problem is that child-talk has become ingrained in small-talk,” McDonough wrote in an email. “Many people don’t even realize how invasive the question can be. There are a million different reasons someone may not have children, and it’s a sensitive topic.”

McDonough’s story is not every woman’s story, but that’s the point. Motherhood is a personal decision.

Since she posted the comic to her Tumblr seven months ago, most of the feedback has been positive.

The original post has more than 58,000 notes. Many readers thanked McDonough for putting their feelings into words (and pictures). Even parents chimed in to voice their support. And the feedback wasn’t limited to McDonough’s peers either.

“I’ve had girls in high school ask me if I worry I’ll regret the decision someday and I’ve had women in their 60s and 70s tell me they don’t regret their decision to remain childless at all,” she wrote. “It’s pretty awesome to see all the encouragement. It gives me hope that demands on the next generations might not be the same!”

No matter how you look at it, kids change your life.

Choosing to raise a child is not an easy decision and looking to your partner or trusted friends for support can be valuable. However, it’s not anyone’s place to suggest or assume they know you better than yourself. You know your situation, preferences, and lifestyle best. Trust it and make the best decision for you and your family.

And if you choose kids, pack wet wipes. So, so many wet wipes.

She decided to illustrate her frustration and pitch-perfect response in her comic “Pretty, Pretty Ugly.”
