Legendary entertainer George Michael passed away at home on Christmas Day at the age of 53, and the tributes continue to pour in after his sudden death. As the Telegraph reports, questions abound on his exact cause of death, but his boyfriend has revealed that he was the one to discover his body.
Fadi Fawaz, a celebrity hairdresser, has been in a relationship with Michael since back in 2011, and he had gone to the star’s home on Christmas morning.
“We were supposed to be going for Christmas lunch. I went round there to wake him up and he was just gone, lying peacefully in bed. We don’t know what happened yet,” Fawaz said.

Speculation has centered on his lifestyle ultimately taking a toll on his health, and rumors are swirling that Michael had recently been caught in the grips of a battle with heroin addiction.

“Everything had been very complicated recently, but George was looking forward to Christmas, and so was I. Now everything is ruined. I want people to remember him the way he was – he was a beautiful person,” he continued.
