Donald Trump reacted Wednesday to Secretary of State John Kerry’s call for peace in the Middle East by alleging that the world’s nations treat Israel “very, very unfairly.”
According to Breitbart News, Kerry advocated a two-state solution to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, while calling Israel’s resettlement policy in the occupied territories an “irreversible one-state reality.” Trump dismissed the speech, telling reporters that it “speaks for itself.”
Earlier, the president-elect tweeted: “(Israel) used to have a great friend in the U.S., but … not anymore. The beginning of the end was the horrible Iran deal, and now this (United Nations)! Stay strong, Israel, January 20th is fast approaching!” Trump was referring to his inauguration date. He added: “We cannot continue to let Israel be treated with such total disdain and disrespect.”

Trump also slammed the United Nations. Breitbart News reported that he accused the international alliance of failing to offer assistance to “horrible places that treat people horribly” but “haven’t even been reprimanded,” while Israel is “up for 20 reprimands” at the U.N. Trump told the news media at his Mar-a-Lago resort: “There’s something going on and it’s very unfair to Israel.” The president-elect stressed that he is “very, very strong on Israel.”
