TRUMP ACCUSES OBAMA OF BLOCKING ‘SMOOTH TRANSITION’

President Obama is interfering with the government’s transition to a new commander-in-chief, according to Donald Trump.

“Doing my best to disregard the many inflammatory President O statements and roadblocks,” the president-elect tweeted on Wednesday. “Thought it was going to be a smooth transition – NOT!”

ABC News pointed out that Trump declined to cite any examples of Obama hindering the effort to turn over the nation’s reins of power. The television network suggested he might have still been upset about the president’s recent claim that he would have beaten the real-estate mogul in last month’s election.

Obama made the comment during an interview on a podcast produced by CNN and the Chicago Institute of Politics. He told host David Axelrod, his former campaign strategist and White House senior adviser, that voters would reward him with a third term in office if the law allowed it. Trump quickly shot back on Twitter: “No Way.”

According to ABC News, the incoming president also blasted Obama for declining to order his United Nations ambassador to veto a U.N. Security Council resolution. Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had called for the veto, but the United States instead abstained from the council’s 14-0 vote. The resolution condemned Israel’s ongoing resettlement of the West Bank.
