One woman woke up and saw her husband curled up on a cold, hard tile floor. You might think this would be an odd sight, or perhaps you would think they had an argument. The real reason behind the dad putting up with such discomfort will touch your heart. It sure touched his wife’s heart.
Amy Palmer woke up and found her husband, Andre, curled up in the fetal position on the floor. She snapped a picture of him and it’s going viral.

The couple’s baby boy is receiving treatments at the hospital. The hard-working dad had worked a late shift and dropped their other child off with a caretaker. He then rushed to the hospital to be with his wife and son.

His exhausted wife was sleeping in a hospital chair, and the baby was sleeping peacefully in the crib. The tired dad didn’t want to disturb his wife, so he quietly took up a spot on the floor by the crib, putting his own comfort last.
“This is a picture of a hard-working man dedicated to his family!” Amy wrote in the caption of the photo she posted online. “After working all night [on the] third shift, he’s right here with his son who is in the hospital. He’s so tired, but he’s here! Father-of-the-Year award goes to Andre Palmer! I love you more than words, baby.”
