A Florida couple decided to take some maternity photos on the beach. Standing in front of the ocean, the dad snapped away at his beautiful wife. They ended up getting an extremely lucky shot.
Dan and Angeline Mozer thought the beach would be a perfect backdrop for some pregnancy pics to celebrate the coming of their baby boy. Angeline was positively glowing, with flowing hair, bright smile and a dress that accentuated her pregnant belly. As she posed for pictures, her husband Dan became inspired and started snapping away.
Suddenly, during one shot, Dan caught something completely unexpected. Behind Angeline in the distance, a dolphin leapt out of the water. While he knew, dolphins were in the area, he could only hope one to breach in such a perfect arc right in his shot. He had set up the shutter burst on his camera to capture it if one did, and he got really lucky.

“When I took it, I was like, ‘Oh, my God!’ Unfortunately, she totally missed it,” said Dan. But he did manage to snap the photo for posterity.

Little Courtland was born soon after, and the family joked that the baby was some kind of magical dolphin whisperer from the womb. They even suggested changing the baby’s name to Dolph Finn, but the Mozers are content with Courtland.
